FAQs

What's the difference between the Extra-Panels and an Extension Kit?
Extra Panel(s) includes:
- 1 Panel (adding 10.5cm of width per panel to your gate)
Best for simply extending your gate.
Extension Kit includes:
- 2 Panels (adding 21cm of width to your gate)
- 4 Brackets to use the gate in another location with adhesives and screws.
Best for extending your gate and relocating to another space with extra brackets.
Do I need extra mounting brackets?
Each gate is supplied with four mounting brackets, which is sufficient to install the gate in one location.
Additional brackets are available if you would like to dock the same gate in multiple areas of the home, such as moving it between the front door, stairways, or hallway.
Installing extra brackets allows the gate to be relocated quickly and securely between pre-fitted positions without needing additional gates.
Do I need a locking bracket?
Locking brackets are designed for persistent or determined dogs that repeatedly test, push, or attempt to force a gate open. They are most commonly used on gates fitted across internal openings such as doorways or stairways, particularly where dogs may be separated or left unsupervised.
A locking bracket is not required for front door installations, as the gate is used with supervision.
All locking brackets can be retrofitted at any time, allowing you to upgrade your gate if your dog’s behaviour changes or develops over time.
