Yes, this is not a problem. The DOG-G8 is designed to work with a wide range of door configurations. It can be installed where there is a reveal, side wall, rail, or recessed doorway.

If your front door is not flush, the brackets are simply positioned further back along the side wall or into the corner of the recess. This setup is very common in older terraced properties as well as modern homes with recessed entrances.

The instruction pack included with every gate covers multiple installation configurations, and our team is always available to provide support if you need guidance.

Yes, you can purchase extra panels to give your gate the added width needed.

At the moment, we have three heights available:

• 50cm Tall for small dogs,
• 88cm Tall suitable for most breeds.
• 120cm Tall designed for areas with a platform or extremely jumpy dogs.

The gaps between each panel are only 5cm.

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, we will notify you ahead of purchasing and please allow additional days in transit for delivery.

If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, the courier will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Prices vary based on weight and location.

There are no additional customs charges for orders shipped to the United Kingdom, United States or Australia.

For orders shipped to the EU or Canada, additional import duties, taxes or tariffs of approximately 10–35% of the order value may apply.

If you are ordering from another country or region, we recommend checking the latest local import duties and taxes before placing your order.

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has been dispatched containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item. When your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original payment method. You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

Cost of returns

The cost of returning an item is the responsibility of the customer. You can return your items by the method of your choice. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

The Dog-G8 Company is not liable for any items which may get lost or damaged in transit.

If the gate is in an unused condition and ordered within 30 days, you will be able to return the gate for a full refund, and please re-order the correct width, height or colour you need. 

You will need to return the unwanted gate to back The Dog-G8 Company, Sendalls Yard, Horsham, RH12 4HG, UK. Once returned you will receive a refund. In the mean-time please simply re-order the correct width, height and colour you need. 

At Dog-G8, we stand behind the quality and reliability of our products. Our 2 year warranty is a testament to our confidence in the excellence of our design, engineering, and manufacturing processes.

Our 2 year warranty covers all manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship when the gate is used under normal conditions and in accordance with the provided user Instructions. This warranty extends for a period of 2 years from the date of the original retail purchase by the first end-user customer resulting in a replacement or repair of the product. This warranty excludes general wear and tear, such as powder coat chipping or spot rust.

If you encounter any problems or defects with your Dog-G8, Please contact us directly if your claim is valid under our warranty terms. We will request to see your proof of purchase, which needs to meet our 2 year warranty window. We cover shipping costs if all instructions are followed diligently.
