All gates are made in the United KIngdom.
The metal work is curved and welded in Peterborough and the joining clips moulded in Horsham, West Sussex.
Each gate is hand assembled to order and packed in Horsham, West Sussex, UK.
Detailed Installation Guidance
Each Dog-G8 Plus arrives fully assembled with four mounting brackets, making installation quick and straightforward.
Use the gate hooks as your guide to position the brackets correctly. We recommend fitting the Dog-G8 Plus on the ground. The hooks extend approximately 3cm from the mounting surface, helping the gate clear common obstructions such as skirting boards.
Two brackets are fitted to one side of the opening such as a wall, newel post, patio door frame or other, while the other two are mounted directly to the other side of the opening. The brackets can be mounted at an angle so the gate can go diagonally if you need.
For uPVC, composite, glass or smooth metal surfaces, you can use the high-strength adhesive supplied. For wood, plasterboard or other suitable surfaces, we recommend screw-fixing the brackets securely in place.
Once installed, simply hook the gate into position. It will open across your opening, creating a secure barrier so you can separate dogs between spaces.
The gate can be removed from the brackets or manually folded flat when not required, and additional panels can be added if you need to extend beyond the standard widths.
Full fitting instructions are included with every Dog-G8 Plus.
How to fit
Measure your opening and select the most suitable gate width. Mount the four brackets on either side of the space using the high-strength adhesive strips or screws provided.
Once the brackets are securely fitted, simply slot your pre-assembled DOG-G8 Plus into position.
When not in use, the gate folds neatly to one side. When needed, simply extend it across the opening and secure it into the opposite brackets to create a safe, secure barrier for your dog.

How strong is the gate?
The gate itself is extremely durable. It is made from steel and secured with screw-locked clips, making it deceptively strong despite its minimal, flexible design.
Our chrome variant is the strongest option and offers greater durability than the powder-coated version. We recommend chrome for households with multiple dogs, large breeds, or industrial use.
For maximum strength, it is essential that the mounting brackets are securely fixed to a suitable surface, as the overall performance of the gate depends on a solid installation.
If the brackets are incorrectly installed, they will be the first component to fail.
My opening is wider than the maximum 197.5cm option. What should I order?
DOG-G8 Plus can be extended beyond 197.5 cm by adding extra panels. Each additional panel increases the width of your gate by 10.5 cm.
For example, if your opening is approximately 250cm wide, order the 197.5 cm DOG-G8 Plus + 5 extra panels.
Thanks to DOG-G8’s modular design, extra panels can also be added to your existing gate at any time if your requirements change.

Will my dog squeeze through Dog-G8?
The spacing between the bars of the Dog-G8 is just 5 cm (1.96 inches). In over 6 years of trading and extensive customer use, we have not received any reports of dogs being able to squeeze through the gate.
