A retractable, portable, and compact dog safety gate to be attached to any Campervan configuration.
DOG-G8 for Campervans enables a side sliding door to be open and securely keeps a dog inside the vehicle, offering a durable and practical solution to benefit any dog owner when out on the road. Offering ventilation and visbility for your dog.
When the gate is not in use, simply fold it flat to one side, remove it from the brackets and pop it in storage. The brackets will stay in place permanently.
Select a preferred height, width and colour, whether its a long-wheel base or a short-wheel base vehicle, you can select and adjust the gate's width to accordingly.

Please note, brackets can be elevated which will increase the minimum height of the top and bottom brackets, elevation will not influence the distance between brackets.

Our innovative pet safety solution caught the attention of the Dragons, as we showcased how Dog-G8 provides a secure, stylish, and practical way to keep pets safe while maintaining the freedom of movement within the home.
FAQ's
This depends on the surface you are mounting the brackets to. Many campers have curved plastic, curved metal, or fabric-lined surfaces, which are not suitable for adhesive fixing. In these cases, the brackets will need to be screw-fixed for a secure installation. We provide suitable self-tappers.
If you are mounting the brackets to a smooth, flat, non-curved surface such as a kitchen cabinet (for example, in a Fiat Ducato), the high-strength adhesive can be used instead.
Once installed, the brackets remain permanently in position, while the gate itself can be easily docked in and out as required.
We design our gate widths to be as compatible with camper layouts as possible. However, due to the wide variety of vehicle designs and custom interiors, it isn’t always possible for the gate width to match an opening perfectly.
A small difference in width is not an issue:
- If the gate is up to 4cm wider than the opening, the gate will bow very slightly. This is normal and does not affect performance or safety.
- If the width difference is between 4-8cm, brackets can be mounted further along the surface (such as a kitchen cabinet or vehicle side wall) to create a more taut and secure fit.
If there is no suitable surface area available, please contact us. We can supply specialised parts or custom solutions to ensure the gate fits correctly.
If your camper isn’t shown in the available options, please contact us directly with the measurements and a few photos of the opening.
To date, we haven’t encountered a camper we couldn’t fit. Our team will review your setup and provide specialist guidance and recommendations to ensure you get the correct gate and fitting solution.
