The front door safety gate. An extendable & durable retractable dog gate to be attached to any front door.
Select your preferred width and height and the dog safety gate will offer a tidy and secure solution to keeping you, your dog, and others safe when at the front door. Made from mild steel and Made in the UK.

The Mounting Brackets
- Bracket width - 2cm
- Bracket length - 10cm
- The Bracket at the bottom has to be mounted at least 22cm up from the ground, this will allow the Dog-G8 to rest on the floor. (Note: Brackets can be mounted higher to elevate the gate if you wish).

Why Dog-G8 for Front Doors?
FAQ's
In over 6 years of trading and extensive internal testing, we have not received any reports of dogs jumping over the DOG-G8 when used at the front door. This is largely due to the context in which it’s used. You are typically present while the door is open, allowing you to give training commands, and the gate is designed to stop dogs rushing past legs and feet.
Additionally, because the door cannot open fully when the DOG-G8 is in place, the available space is reduced, making jumping far less likely.
Each gate comes with four mounting brackets. Two are fixed to the side wall or door frame, and two are fixed directly to the front door.
You can attach the brackets using our high-grade adhesive tape on composite, uPVC, glass, or metal surfaces. For wood, plasterboard, or brick, we provide screws for a secure screw-fix installation.
When applied correctly to the appropriate surfaces (uPVC, composite, glass, or metal), the adhesive bonds extremely effectively. The brackets should be installed with firm pressure and left for 24 hours to fully cure. Once set, the adhesive can support direct weight of up to 40kg.
