The DOG-G8 Company Spring and Summer shows 2022
This year we had a stall at Crufts for the first time, and what a show it was! It was amazing meeting so many of you who we ‘know’ on social media as well as introducing Dog-G8 to a whole new audience. We had so much fun that we have decided to attend some more!
Will you be at any of these, drop us a message and let us know if you are coming, we’d love to say Hi.

DogFest : 7th/8th May.
Loseley Park, South Gate Entrance, New Pond Road, Guildford, Surrey, GU3 1HY
Find us at: Stand Number 108
Dogfest is probably the most well-known of dog shows, starting in 2014 it started as a one day event organised by Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick who can often be seen wondering round the shows saying hello (although apparently he’s not attending this year which is a shame!). The big draw of the DogFest shows are the celebrity guests who attend, with the likes of Michaela Strachen, Dr Scott Miller and Adem Fehmi all being on the line up.
There’s lots going on in the main arena from obedience and dog shows to Lucy Heath performing with her TikTok sensation Tricksters (the acts are the same on both days so you shouldn’t feel like you are missing out on anything!).
If you are obsessed with your breed of dog, you may be in luck as there are breed meetups set across certain times during the weekend.
Fancy exploring a little further than the show. Why not take part in the organised 2k or 4k Big Dog Walk around the stunning grounds. There is a £2 voluntary donation going to the charity of choice, Dogs Trust so you’ll be doing it for a good cause too!
Other things to look for are the Pup Quiz, Fun Dog Shows.
You’ll find lots of brands to shop with like the much-loved JR Pet Products, Scrumbles, Nuts for Pets as well as fab food & drinks stalls.

Paws in the Park: 14th and 15th May
https://www.pawsinthepark.net/
The South of England Showground, Ardingly, West Sussex - Postcode for Satnav : RH17 6TL
One of the longest running dog shows, Paws in the Park has been going for 16 years now and is the largest indoor and outdoor dog show in the UK. Expect the atmosphere to have a big buzz and family atmosphere as the show draws in over 20,000 visitors.
The main arena hosts a huge variety of displays to watch - where else can you see Canicross displays and duck herding in the same place? Have a go agility & hurdles and lots of other interactive options and is always good fun for you to do with your dog.
The shopping boasts lots of independent and gorgeous crafts as well as the bigger name brands so make sure you have some spending money!

Dogstival : 4th & 5th June
Broadlands Park, Romsey, Hampshire, SO51 9ZD
Set in the Test Valley at Romsey, The Broadlands Estate covers 4500 acres, much of which is open land dedicated to agriculture.
Dogstival is a fairly new kid in the arena of dog shows, but it’s fast gathering fans! Its first show was in 2019 and had a great turnout, and although there are some big name brands exhibiting, they pride themselves in championing independent brands so it’s a great place to find new products to spend your money on!
Apart from the stalls though, there are some really fantastic interactive things to do with your dog at Dogstival, probably the biggest draw is the K9 Splash Pool where water loving dogs get to have a go at Dock Diving which is now a worldwide dog sport. There’s also Have a Go Agility, scent work, Barkour and so much more.
Lots of food variety too with various human stalls offering dog versions so you don’t have to share.

South of England Show : 10-12 June
The South of England Showground, Ardingly, West Sussex - Postcode for Satnav : RH17 6TL
A little different to the dog shows we are attending, but no less fun! We love being outdoors, and we love the countryside so this seemed the perfect option for us to exhibit at. It’s a bit daunting as it’s huge - attracting over 65,000 visitors.
Founded in 1967 it’s had plenty of time to become a very well organised event with some fabulous countryside pursuits on display like falconry, rural crafts, cattle parades as well as an abundance of food, drink and shopping. Basically everything that you could possibly love about a country lifestyle in one place.

The Windsor Dog Show : 30th June - 3rd July
King Edward VII Avenue, Windsor, SL4 6HX
For many years Windsor has been known as the Ascot of Dog Shows, with nearly 10,000 dogs from all over the UK and from overseas competing at the show which is the largest event of its kind in the South of England and amongst the biggest in the UK. The first show was in 1951 and it still takes place in the same ground now!
It’s a fantastic day out for the family, with Windsor town centre within walking distance of the event. The event is free this year (£10 for parking) and spectator dogs over 6 months will be allowed to see the professional show dogs at work.
- Thursday, 30th June - Hound and Utility Breeds
- Friday, 1st July - Terrier and Toy Breeds
- Saturday, 2nd July - Working and Pastoral Breeds
- Sunday, 3rd July - Gundog Breeds and Best in Show
